The Horse and His Girl // A Photo Story
I'm so excited that I was finally able to take these photos for this story! I hope you like it!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One fall day, Brooke and Teddie went to a harvest farm. At the farm, Teddie couldn't believe her eyes.
There was a beautiful horse!
The horse looked at her, wonderingly. Was this a girl he could trust?
Teddie reached out her hand gently, holding her breath.
They looked into each others eyes.
Both could tell they were meant to be friends.
Teddie told Brooke, who was picking out the perfect pumpkin, that she was going to try riding the horse.
Teddie led the horse across the green grass that was carpeted with crunchy leaves.
The horse followed on her heel.
Soon, Teddie was barely had to hold the lead.
Unafraid, Teddie heaved herself onto the horse's back. The leaned forward and hugged him, breathing in the scent of fresh hay.
Afterward a jaunt around the yard, the two headed back to the paddock.
Meawhile, Brooke managed to find just the right pumpkin to decorate her bedroom!
Looks like Teddie is up for some horseback riding lessons in the future! :)
I haven't named the horse yet.... Any suggestions?
Maggie in the Tree // A Fall Photo Shoot
It's time for some fall-ish photos! Who's ready? :)
Being an outdoorsy girl, Maggie had to climb up and recline in the tree.
More to come!
Some of My Favorite AG Dolls (Right Now)
Hello! It's been a little while; sorry for the lack of posts!
I thought it would be fun to share some American Girl dolls that I like. My favorite dolls are the ones I already own and I don't plan on getting any of these dolls, but right now these are some of my favorites that I don't have!
(all photos are from americangirl.com)
I like Nanea! I guess some people don't like her new face mold, but I've grown to really like it and I think she is very pretty and unique!
Okay, so I went on to AmericanGirl.com to create some Jess mold customs and saw this redhead! I wouldn't be able to much hair with a short haired doll but this girl is so cute and I had to include her in this post.
I have #64 (Phoebe) and I love her face mold. She has the Ivy mold, which has the paint in the corners of the eyes. Personally, I prefer this to the Jess mold, which does not. It looks like the Create Your Own version of the face mold is Jess. Still, I think a girl with short curly black hair like the one above would be adorable! I put grey eyes for this doll, but brown would be great too.
She looks so sweet! I would really like to see what these hairstyles look like on a real doll, wouldn't you?
And lastly... Truly Me #53! I actually had a used #53 (aka Beth before customization). I would love to have this doll but with grey eyes. Unfortunately Create Your Own does not have a hairstyle option that is like #53's... I love her blonde hair and none of my dolls have blonde hair.
Well, that's all for now! What AG dolls are your favorite?
