What a Glorious Feeling // Photo Shoot with Brooke

While I was taking pictures to list the AG items featured in this post, I just had to put Molly's raincoat and hat on Brooke for a photoshoot. It was a bit drippy out, so I grabbed some rain boots and an umbrella to go with the ensemble.

The boots are from Our Generation, and I had to slit the back to get them on. The white lacey umbrella is actually from Disneyworld, at one of the stations where some ladies were decorating umbrellas. A plain umbrella was very reasonable, and it was perfectly doll-sized, so I couldn't pass it up!

Favorite photo from this shoot? Mine have to be the first or the fourth to last :)

ALSO! I'm so honored to win the Paisley Award for Best Doll Photography! Thank you all so much!

Beth in Pink -- A Photoshoot

Since I haven't had Beth as long as Maggie and Brooke, I feel like I haven't done as many photoshoots of her. I'm still discovering how she looks in different colors, even though she's been customized since last September!

Thanks for stopping by!

Review of Glitter Slip-Ons

I featured these shoes in the What My Dolls are Wearing Today post a while back, and I thought I would do a review on them!

These cute glitter slip-ons are from AmericanFashionWorld on Amazon.  They also come in many other colors including light pink, light purple, dark purple, silver, gold and more.  The inside says AFW.  My dolls stand well in them.

Although these shoes are called "Teal Glitter Slip-Ons", they are more of a turquoise color (which can be easily seen in the stock photos).  The glitter on the shoes is not glitter the consistency of sand or the like, but more of a tiny flat hexagon.  Around the toe seams it appears to be that a few pieces of glitter have come off leaving white spots.  I think this has happened over time, as I have had these shoes about 4 or 5 months.

The shoes have a thick white foam sole.  I would prefer the soles to be a little less thick, but that's ok.

They also have elastic for easy on and off.

In addition to looking super cute, the slip-ons fit very well!  They are close fitting but not too tight.

I really like these shoes and would recommend them.  I may eventually get another pair in a different color!

Review: Glasses from AmericanFashionWorld

I always thought it would be fun to have some glasses for my American Girl Dolls.  I was looking on Amazon and found some cute pairs from American Fashion World for a reasonable price.  The set came with a purple pair and a hot pink (although they look more reddish in my pictures) pair of glasses.

The glasses measure about 3 1/4 inches long.  The lenses are about 1 1/4" by 5/8".

Here is a closer look at how they look on the Classic mold:

And the Josefina mold:

I think it's a nice touch that the arms have small holes in the ends to attach a glasses string.  This is important when doing activities like riding horses or roller coasters :)

Both pairs fold up nicely.

The arms are connected to the frames with a screw on each side.  I feel like the purple pair are a teeny bit crooked, but that might just be how they sit on my doll.

These glasses are cute accessories for my dolls' outfits and I am pleased with the quality of them!
