What I Recieved for Christmas!! :D

Happy New Year! I hope you had a great Christmas! I'm so grateful for what my family gave me for Christmas, and wanted to share the doll related items with you because I'm so excited to use them!

Here is everything I was given that is doll related. And, yes, I got a new doll!

My brother gave me this cute musical instrument set from Our Generation! The piano is in Brooke's room right now! (Also, I have a new doll "house", a post for another day :)

This little blow up is actually a cupholder, but it is doll sized! This was so thoughtful of my bro.

This cute circle dress is from TheGlamDolls and I can't wait to do a photoshoot of it on Cadence!

This Kids Playset has a Keurig, mixer, and toaster that are pretty close to doll sized!

Finally, my new doll is...

Truly Me #78! She has blonde hair, pale skin, and green eyes.

That's all for today! What is something you gave for Christmas?

Teddie's First Photo Shoot!

Enjoy!

I read that some have trouble with Maryellen's bangs, but Teddie's seem to be naturally manageable.

The tag she came with said "How to care for your doll with straight hair", but she has almost curly hair.

Her hair in this picture is more similar to her actual hair color than the other pictures.

I have decided that she is beachy, loves inspirational phrases, and graphic tops!

PS Did you notice that I added new personality information for my dolls on the Meet My Dolls page?

Beth and Maggie's Updos

I did some fun hairstyles on Maggie and Beth that I thought I would share!

Maggie's is a low pony flipped over and bobby pinned in a simple yet cute style.

Beth's hair was a bit more complex. First, I did two French braids from her part to her hair. Then, I put the rest of her hair in a bun. I wrapped the braids around the base of the bun.

She's loving her new white minky pullover :)

Spring/Easter Cookies!

I recently made these little cookies!

I mixed together some clay to the approximate color of a cookie and rolled it out. I used some tiny cookie cutters to get the shapes.

For a more realistic texture, I lightly used a clay tool.

I used fabric paint for the frosting, because I didn't have any puffy paint in the right colors. I wasn't sure if the fabric paint would work, but it dried just fine.

Drying...

Finished!
