My AG Catalogue Collection

I've been keeping most of the AG catalogues I receive since 2016. That's not very long, but I still have quite a few catalogues! The photography in them is inspiring and it's cool to see all the items.

These are all the holiday catalogues I have. The ones on the left are from 2016, and on the right from 2017.

Create Your Own!

My favorite thing in the catalogues is definitely the pictures of the dolls in their own world. I also like how AG has been mixing accessories to create environments.

All the BeForevers together (well the ones that were being sold at the time). My favorites are Kaya and Addy.

These are the catalogues I have that introduce a new character.

Nanea's cover is my favorite.

This picture of Nanea hula dancing with other girls is one of my favorite AG pictures. It really gives life to the doll and her culture. I love the idea of a Hawaiian BeForever doll.

And, lastly, I had to feature this group shot spread. I kind of like how they have the contemporary characters up there with the girls from the past. It connects the history to the present. Don't you think?

Well, this post was a little different but I hope you enjoyed it. Do you collect AG catalogues? If so, how long have you been collecting? Do you have a favorite?

Cadence Got a Haircut?! + Photo Shoot

I decided it was time to give Cadence bangs! Without a clip, her hair always falls in her face like this:

I finally got up the nerve and got out the scissors. For an hour, I snipped away, slowly but surely. I was a little worried about scratching her face or accidently cutting her eyelash.

But it all worked out, and I will be working on it more in the future, because I think it needs to be a bit shorter. But thought I would do a little reveal!!

Ta da!

After I took this picture I worked on her bangs some more. Her wig isn't glued on, so I adjusted the length of the bangs by moving the wig a little. Downside of this is, if her wig accidentally moves, the bangs get uneven. Anyway, I did a photo shoot of her!

I like her bangs! They let her show her face without a clip and I was able to put her hair in pigtails! Her wig is from Exquisite Doll Designs, and it doesn't have a sewn part. That's why the bangs lay correctly, because the hair naturally falls straight down. I've never cut bangs on anything before so tell me what you think of Cady's bangs! She's looking a little bit like the doll she used to be, Ivy ;)

I think it's Brooke's turn for a post, do you?

PS Don't cut your dolls hair without your parents' permission!

EDIT: I also am wondering if you know of a place with AG mini doll free patterns?? My minis need clothes!

It's Not Summer Yet, Phoebe // A Photo Story

Phoebe stood gazing out at the bright yard.

She stood at the threshold of a friend she hadn't seen for what seemed liked forever: THE SUN.

She crossed the line with a jump and threw her arms in the air, "Sunshine!!"

She sprawled in the warmth.

After months of being cooped up by the snow, she was finally able to spend the afternoon exploring.

She threw off her headband and let her hair blow in the breeze.

*sigh*

"Do you see something in my eyes?! It's the SUN!!! YAY!!!"

After a while, Phoebe headed back inside, exhilarated. She passed Brooke in the hall.

Brooke stared at her for a second.
"Um, Phoebe? What were you doing out there? Dressed like that?"

"Playing! It's summer!!"
Brooke shook her head and sighed.

Cadence's Secret // A Photo Story

Hello! I have decided to officially switch to posting only on Sundays, rather than twice a week. For now, I think this will work better. Also, be sure to check out my other blog where I will be posting every Tuesday!

I've been excited about this post for a while now, so here goes!

Cadence had a plan. Her new sisters, as she called them, were making her feel so welcome. She wanted to do something in return.

So, she grabbed some supplies and stayed by the dining table for hours.

Suddenly, she saw Phoebe in the corner of her eye. Cadence looked up and shuffled her papers around.

"Hi," Cadence said casually.

Phoebe said, "What are you doing in here? It's been hours!"
Cadence replied, "Oh nothing, really."
Phoebe raised an eyebrow and squinted her eyes, "Ooookay then." She quickly left the room, leaving Cadence.

In the hallway, Phoebe stopped to think. What could Cadence be doing that she didn't want her to know about? What should she do about it? Beth would have an idea, Phoebe thought.

Phoebe found Beth and explained the suspicious situation with her.

"I wouldn't worry about it. Everyone needs alone time once in a while to work on their hobby." Beth stated. "Give her time, and maybe she'll tell you about it."

This didn't really satisfy Phoebe, but decided to take her advice.

Later that day, Maggie and Teddie were hanging out chatting, when Brooke approached them.

"Guys? Cadence says she has something she wants to show us. We're all gathering in the main room."

The main room buzzed with curiosity and anticipation.
"This has to do with what I saw earlier!" Phoebe exclaimed to Brooke and Beth.

When the door opened, all eyes turned.

Cadence stood with her hands behind her back, clearly hiding something.
"I've been working on something to show that I am grateful or everything you guys have done for me. I appreciate all your kindness so much."

The room stayed silent.

Cadence pulled something out from behind her back. It was a beautiful drawing of them all!

They all gathered around looking at their new family portrait. Cadence was glad to find a way to show her sisters that she appreciated them.

My brother made this wonderful drawing of all my dolls for me! Since Cadence is an artist, I wanted to include the picture in a photo story! Here is what the picture looks like:

Brooke, Beth, Maggie, Cadence, Teddie, and Phoebe

It was a lot of fun working with my brother to design the picture! I'm going to add it to the "Meet My Dolls" page :)

I hope you enjoyed this post!
