Photo shoot of Maggie

I dressed Maggie up in a cute little outfit and took a pictures of her today! Enjoy!

I just love her curls :)

Beth appeared came around the corner, and said, "Maggie?"

"Yeah?" Maggie turned away from the camera to look at Beth.

"Do you wanna watch a movie with me?" Beth held out The Little Mermaid.

"Sure!" Maggie replied.

The two girls walked off. Well, that was the end of that photo shoot!

What My Dolls Are Wearing -- Beth's Outfit

Today I have another "What My Dolls Are Wearing" post, featuring Beth!

She is wearing what is starting to be her favorite slouch grey cardigan, over a black tee.

Her shorts have a black and white floral design.

Her wavy hair is pulled back from her face with a small rubber band on top.

The necklace is made of black jewelry cord, a jump ring, and a charm I made from ShrinkFilm. A little smiley face :)

New Sparkly Sequin High Tops

The other pair of shoes I got for Christmas are this stylish high tops from The Queen's Treasure! They have sparkly sequins. I put them on Brooke with her Disneyland shirt, because I think the sparkly shoes are perfect for the magic of Disneyland :)

These shoes are great quality. I am careful with the sequins though, because I don't want them to fall off. I'm not sure if they will, so I'm being cautious.

I think high tops are so cute on dolls :)

Because of school, posting may be a bit less regular. I just wanted to let you know :)

Do you like Disney?

American Girl Books

I love reading and writing, especially historical fiction! Before I got Maggie (Rebecca) I had never read any American Girl books. I read Rebecca's first book last Christmas. Last week, I discovered that my local library had tons of American Girl books! They have historical, Beforever, mysteries, and GOTY books. I read 'Maryellen: The One and Only' last week. The story was really nice and teaches some good lessons.

This week I read 'Caroline: Facing the Enemy' (my library didn't have the first Caroline book). Caroline is very courageous and can quickly make sacrifices in order to do what is right. I enjoyed reading about the Beforever girls behind the dolls that I have seen often :)

I also borrowed a History Mystery by Barbara Steiner titled 'Mystery at Chilkoot Pass'. It was about a family traveling for the Klondike Gold Rush. It would be cool to see a doll with the features of the main girl in the book, Hetty. She has black curly hair and green eyes.

I hope to continue reading more AG books!

Also, I added a poll to my sidebar, I would love it if you would check it out and share your opinion!

Have you read any American Girl books? If so, do you prefer the historical or GOTY ones?
