Beth's Good Deed -- A Photo Story

I was inspired by my messy doll bedroom to put together this photo story! :)

One hot summer afternoon, Beth searched the house for her phone. She headed down the hallway, thinking it might be in Brooke and Maggie’s room.

When she arrived in their bedroom, she cringed. The place was a mess! "There's my phone...On the floor."

  

Looking around, Beth said to herself, “I guess Brooke and Maggie have been too busy this summer to clean their room.” Maggie was constantly involved with sports or volunteer work, while Brooke spent nearly every week at a different summer camp. 

“I suppose I could do them a favor and surprise them by cleaning up their room…” Beth set to work.

 It took time, but Beth put each thing in its own place.

Her phone buzzed and a text notification popped up. “Brooke will be home from dance camp soon!”

Beth flew down the stairs to her bedroom. There, she cuddled up and listened to the newest Adventures in Odyssey episode. Beth was enveloped into the episode, when a piercing shriek cut through the air. Brooke must be home!, Beth thought. 

“My room! It’s clean!” Brooke’s voice could be heard saying. Beth smiled and went to Brooke.

“Beth? Did you do this?” Beth nodded.

“I haven’t had any time between packing and unpacking for the next camp to tidy the bedroom. 

Thank you so much.”

The two girls hugged.
